After that he or she is introduced to the use of a brush for coloring, the basic and secondary colors, cold and hot colors, the color wheel and harmony, which enables the trainee to use gouache for painting.
The trainee in oil painting is first shown how to mix colors and then how to apply coatings, after which he or she begins painting.
